\u00a0Despite his appearance, many in the comments have claimed that may not all be as it seems with this \u201creligious\u201d fellow. One common hustle on the Las Vegas Strip involves a group of fake Buddhist monks who sell bracelets and prayers to tourists. As many critics have pointed out, this goes against Buddhist values of humility and minimalism.<\/p>\n

In response to Jordison\u2019s post, many have pointed out that this is likely the case with this particular gambler. \u201cHe\u2019s never getting a penny out of me again,\u201d one user called Billy Walters responded. Another joked: \u201cI still have my $40 bracelet, and my name is in his little book for prayers that will sway me away from the dark side.\u201d<\/p>\n
