First responders were called to deal with alleged drug overdoses, assaults, and public indecency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe event was marked by widespread intoxication, disorderly behaviour, and numerous criminal and medical incidents,\u201d said a statement from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>an attendee was seen climbing onto slot machines\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cSecurity personnel were unable to effectively control the casino floor, including witness reports that an attendee was seen climbing onto slot machines.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for the casino said that they had accepted the fine as well as full responsibility for the carnage that took place on the evening.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe respect the AGCO\u2019s decision and fully acknowledge its role in setting and enforcing the standards that guide the gaming industry in Ontario,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe take full responsibility for this incident. We have acted thoroughly to address it and have imposed multiple compliance safeguards to prevent a similar incident.
