A severe thunderstorm that lashed down on Southern Nevada accompanied by a biblical amount of lightning strikes and hail has caused havoc at Las Vegas casinos.

(@LasVegasLocally) When the storm hit, it brought heavy rain to the Las Vegas Valley, resulting in flash floods and heavy hailstorms.
The Vegas social media influencer shared footage of what it termed “an unusual amount of hail for the Vegas Strip in June:”

While people posted end-is-nigh-placard-carrying Homer Simpson memes, Vegas casinos were feeling the impact of the storm.
NV Energy’s website on Tuesday revealed over 2,500 customers were without power, with Locally also sharing a video of Durango Casino’s slots all out of juice:
